WATCH: Conway Scolds 17-Year-Old Girl, Turns Sexual Assault Question To Hillary And ISIS

KellyAnne Conway, former campaign manager and current senior adviser to President-elect Donald Trump, gave a speech in Washington, D.C. at a UVA-hosted event on Wednesday. During the post-speech Q&A, a student decided to ask Conway about her boss’s sexual assault charges. Conway’s answer was nothing short of ridiculous.

Conway Accuses Student Of Trying To ‘Make News’

A student at the UVA-hosted event asked Conway about Trump’s alleged assaults, and specifically about the infamous Access Hollywood tape. According to Politico:

“‘Donald Trump has negated claims that he sexually assaulted women but also admitted to a tape where he seemed to be describing sexual assault,’ a young woman in the audience said to applause. ‘How do you rationalize that as a woman and also as his campaign manager?'”

The Hill identified the young woman as:

“…Maaike Laanstra-Corn, the daughter of liberal author and Mother Jones Washington bureau chief David Corn.”

Conway attempted to shift the focus, complaining about all the “anti-woman” accusations that — with very good reason — flew about during the campaign. She also made snide, patronizing remarks about the “politics of the room” and the “millennial outreach.”

She then smugly chastised the student for asking a perfectly reasonable question, saying:

“For you to use sexual assault to try to make news here I think is unfortunate, but it also doesn’t matter because Donald Trump promised he’ll be a president of all Americans.”

So, in other words, this student, who is clearly looking for an answer, instead gets Conway smacking her hand like a petulant child. And, apparently, valid questions about what Trump did don’t “matter.”

Ms. Conway, with all due respect, your boss’s “promises” aren’t worth the air into which they’re breathed.
