Eric Trump decided Twitter would be a great place to accuse Jill Stein of putting money in all the wrong places. Twitter, of course, proved him wrong.
Open Mouth – Insert Foot
Green Party candidate Jill Stein helped spearhead the effort to recount the votes in Wisconsin, where Trump beat former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by a mere 22,000 votes — less than one percent of the vote.
Eric Trump decided to lambast Stein’s effort with the following tweet:
The Sad Truth: The Cost Of Stein/Clinton's #Wisconsin Vote Recount Could Have Saved At Least 5,000 Children's Lives https://t.co/sMNQJDfppt
— Eric Trump (@EricTrump) December 4, 2016
Eric Trump’s tweet linked to an article in Forbes, written by conservative Chris Conover. Conover’s article plays the whole “why this and not that” game, much beloved by conservatives, in which the argument is made that a focus on one issue completely negates the focus on an entirely different issue.
Twitter, however, was having none of it.
Eric Trump was lambasted by the Twitterverse for his complete and total lack of awareness. And it was fantastic.
how many lives would your father's security costs in NY save? How about his big tax writeoffs? You should be ashamed.

Oh please share with us your wisdom on the ways of giving. Perhaps a glance at your taxes to show all your charitible donations?

Since you care about those children so much, why don't YOU pay for the recount then? I mean, since it was rigged and all…
