Pettiness Of The Trump Administration Makes America Weaker In US-China Relations (TWEET)

The media worked to “sell” us an Obama vs Trump inauguration match for which president drew the largest crowds. The Trump administration gave us the alternative facts from Kellyanne Conway and it became very evident just how weak and petty the new Trump administration is.

The Obama vs Trump inauguration test was only the beginning of a series of incidents that showed their weakness. Because after the event – before Conway took the initiative to create alternative facts to twist the truth, defiant of real facts — Press Secretary Sean Spicer launched a scathing attack from the White House podium against the press corp, telling them the White House would hold the press accountable for twisting the “facts.”

American strength is also being tested against the alternative facts of a Republican-led Congress in comparisons between Trump and Obama. Republicans were persistent in saying that the former president was weak, and had only made America weaker with his foreign policy.

China Intimidates Trump

One recent example of this is with the Chinese government, who are extremely aggressive with their diplomacy. This is certainly true due to the fact that their powerful grip over their citizens is designed to prevent an uprising against them.

As noted in a post on Liberal America, when President Obama traveled to China last year there was an incident that took place on the tarmac when Obama was disembarking Air Force One. The Chinese authorities refused to bring a stairwell up to the plane. Instead, the President had to use a set of emergency stairs in the back.

Trump and Republican critics saw this as a sign of weakness, which they added to a long list of other “weaknesses” they claimed he exhibited during his presidency. Many felt that he was simply not hard enough with other governments — especially adversarial ones — to show American strength.

Russia is one of those adversarial governments, which President Trump has been accused of colluding with to interfere in the 2016 Presidential Election.

Trump Is Afraid Of Putin

President Obama has also been accused of not showing strength against Russian president Vladimir Putin either. Especially in Syria, against chemical weapons or even sanctions. With the Trump administration embracing Russia rather than confronting them, Trump has dodged a tense relationship with a tyrant while Obama had no problem making a scene.

Going back to China, now with nothing but months of bluster to show for how he would deal with them from his campaign, the Chinese government is reportedly testing the newly inaugurated President Trump.

As Liberal America reported, the facts are that the People’s Republic of China has already locked into an alternative trade solution, should the U.S. abandon the deals Obama made when he was president. This will make America so much weaker than Obama was accused of doing that if allowed, it could significantly kill America’s influence in the world.

Insecure, Petty Trump Administration, Scared Republicans

This has all happened within days after the inauguration, which took place last Friday. Their determination to focus on sending out Conway to spin alternative facts, Spicer’s attack on the press, and Trump’s Twitter skills over the weekend has already been seen as showing strength to some.

But Republicans haven’t called out Trump — likely because they don’t have the courage to. Not as they did before because they now have a weaponized dictator and an administration that will do what it wants that they can get behind, to wreak as much legislative havoc as they possibly can.

And that is certainly not the kind of strength it takes to lead.

If Republicans were honest about what a Trump dictatorship means to the country, then they would come to their senses and take back their accusation that Obama made the U.S. weaker and admit that he made America strong after all.
