Actor’s Son Starts Fire, Yells ‘Screw Our President’ At DeploraBall (TWEETS/VIDEO)

As was to be expected, protesters came out in droves this past Inauguration Day. A young boy was even caught on camera bashing President Donald Trump. He wasn’t just any young boy, though.

He was actor Drew Carey’s son, Connor.

Deploraball

After former President Barack Obama was choppered out of Washington, D.C., Trump’s group of deplorables celebrated their new fascist at the DeploraBall. Within the crowd of people shouting profanities and throwing items at the guests was 11-year-old Connor.

After seeing one of the fires, a Fox News reporter interviewed Connor who said:

“My name is Connor and I actually kind of started this fire.”

While hearing a young boy admit to starting a fire is shocking, that’s not all that happened. When asked why he started the fire, Connor said:

“‘Cuz I felt like it and because I’m just saying screw our president!”

The reporter quickly backed away.

Like Father, Like Son

Connor’s dad has starred in several television shows, including the Drew Carey Show and Whose Line Is It Anyway? He’s hosted the Price Is Right since 2007, and also served in the United States Marine Corps.

It seems as though Carey is also on board with disliking Trump. Back in December of 2015, he tweeted an article that repeatedly called Trump a ‘bad person.’

His current Twitter timeline is filled with retweets that don’t speak too highly of Trump, as well as the following message in which it’s unclear to which lie Carey’s referring:

While there were some deplorables who called Carey a bad parent, forgetting that supporting Trump won’t win them Parent of the Year, there were others who were a bit more supportive:

It’s never okay to use violence as a means of protest, especially when it’s against a violent dictator. It is, however, nice to see that children know right from wrong. He just got a little carried away. Or should we say, ‘Careyed’ away?
