Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) has the distinction of being both the first Muslim elected to Congress and the first African-American elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives. He has served as a representative since 2007 and ran for Chair of the Democratic National Committee in 2016.
President Donald Trump recently tweeted about Ellison, praising him for his foresight in predicting his win.
One thing I will say about Rep. Keith Ellison, in his fight to lead the DNC, is that he was the one who predicted early that I would win!

It is, in fact, the only tweet regarding Ellison to be found on Trump’s Twitter feed. However, Ellison did not quite predict that Trump would win. In July 2015 he predicted that Trump would be nominated as the Republican candidate:
7-2015, I predicted Trump as R nominee; some laughed. Van Jones warns folks that he could win it all. Watch! Listen! https://t.co/7gi9xdaMoQ

While Trump may not have many things to say about Ellison, Ellison has a lot of things to say about him – starting with a new prediction.
