Man Dies In Milwaukee Jail Under Inhumane Torture – 1 of 4 Deaths In 2016 (VIDEO)

Milwaukee County prosecutors are considering filing felony charges after a 38-year-old inmate Terrill Thomas died of “profound dehydration” while in solitary confinement last April.

Thomas’ family are also considering filing a lawsuit separately, alleging Thomas was “subjected to a form of torture.” Other inmates “overheard his cries for water for days,” but his pleas were ignored by jail staff. Family members told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that they believe jail employees might have cut off his water supply when he acted erratically instead of getting him mental health treatment.

Baby Dies After Jail Staff Ignores Labor

Thomas is not the only person who died at the jail last year. As a matter of fact, he is one of four recent deaths including the death of a newborn baby. All four deaths occurred within a six-month period.

Shadé Swayzer, a former inmate of Milwaukee County prison, has filed a lawsuit against the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, alleging that jail staff is responsible for the death of her baby. Swayzer said that jail staff laughed at her request for medical help as she went into labor and ignored the situation. Finally, she gave birth and didn’t receive attention from jail staff until two hours later. The baby died later that day.

Michael Madden, a 29-year-old inmate, died overnight after officers thought he as faking a seizure, and then let him fall and hit his head. A female inmate, 38-year-old Kristina A. Fiebrink, was found dead in her cell one morning after screaming all night that she needed help, and being ignored.

A Cover Up By The Sheriff?

Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. tried to keep the details of the deaths under wraps. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Brian Peterson, Milwaukee County chief medical examiner, said the sheriff called him on Oct. 28 and “verbally pummeled” and “threatened” him over information his office made public regarding the deaths. Clarke, known for exhibiting “bullying behavior,” is keeping quiet.

Coincidentally, Clarke was under consideration for a high-level cabinet post in President Donald Trump’s administration.
