Trump Supporter’s Husband Deported – Conservative Hypocrisy At Its Best (VIDEO)

Conservatives have proven their hypocrisy yet again, this time by supporting racism and then having it backfire right in their face.

Undocumented Husband

Meet Helen Beristain, a U.S. citizen in Indianapolis, Indiana. She’s a wife and mother who proudly voted for President Donald Trump. Which is ironic, since her husband was supposed to get deported 16 years ago.

Her husband, Roberto, owns a steakhouse in Granger and has for quite some time now. Despite being undocumented for two decades, regular check-ins with U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) officers has allowed him to stay. Which is good, seeing as how he’s the breadwinner.

At least he was.

Roberto has been detained since his annual check-in with ICE agents on February 6. Nearly two decades of checking in and staying under the radar wasn’t enough for a white supremacist administration though, which wasted no time in ordering ICE agents to round up anyone who’s undocumented.

Helen recalls being notified about the incident, saying:

“They came outside, knocked on the window. They said, ‘Are you Roberto’s wife?’ and I said, ‘Yes.’ And they said, ‘Well, your husband is being detained because of a deportation [order] 16 and a half years ago.’ And I said, ‘That’s a joke.’ And they said, ‘No, it’s true.’

Voter’s Remorse

All of this begs the question of why she voted for a man who based his entire campaign on deporting undocumented workers, to which she said:

“We don’t want to have cartels here, you don’t want to have drugs in your high schools, you don’t want killers next to you. You want to feel safe when you leave your house. I truly believe that. And that is why I voted for Mr. Trump.”

Amongst all of the hardworking, undocumented workers living in our country, there are plenty of whites who sell drugs and commit murder.

In her ignorant defense though, Trump did say he’d only deport the “bad hombres.” He used his deceptive business skills to convince his racist supporters that he wasn’t racist.

Helen believed that blatant lie, saying:

“[Trump] did say the good people would not be deported, the good people would be checked.”

As her husband is set to be deported today, Helen feels misled by President Trump. Yet another one of his supporters with voter’s remorse.

Perhaps she should have voted for the nominee who supported immigration reform, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
