Next Move For Sean Spicer Is Looking Like Reality TV (Hint: Can He Dance?)

Rumor has it that recently unemployed Sean Spicer is negotiating with a hugely popular reality show. The former press secretary of the White House is said to be in early talks with ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. The show has been on the air for over two decades and has proven itself a hugely popular variety show.

If this is true, he would not be the first competitor from the realm of politics. Texan Governor Rick Perry has also been on the show, albeit briefly.

Adam Best came up with this witty tweet guessing what might be on Spicer’s resume to apply for the role on DWTS:

Spicer faced a huge amount of scrutiny and criticism while fronting many press conferences on behalf of the Trump administration. He was also a target of memorable satire by the brilliant actress Melissa McCarthy who played him so well on Saturday Night Live.

Anthony Scarramucci who is now the president’s communications director spoke fondly of Spicer on his departure saying:

“He’s done an amazing job. I wish him well and I hope he goes on to make a tremendous amount of money.”

Trump also wished him well on exit.

Fellow Republican and big time Trump critic Ana Navarro has also weighed in on the rumor, after today’s firing of White House Chief of Staff, Reince Preibus, tweeting this:

If Spicer’s next move is the dancing show, he will most likely need to improve his fitness and be ready to spill the beans on working for Trump. The show not only judges celebrities for their dancing skills, but also seems to be a popularity contest. If Spicer is willing to divulge some sordid secrets, America might just keep him in longer than Perry managed to stay with the show.

Putting a positive spin on Trump’s policies is certainly a difficult thing to pull off. The question now is will he be able to perform an actual spin on the dance floor?
