WATCH: Trump’s ‘Working Vacation’ Involved Golf, Crashing A Wedding On Day One

Despite once claiming that he would have too much work to do to ever go on vacation, President Donald Trump has just started yet another golf course visit – this one a 17-day long trip to his National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey. Although he claims it is a working vacation, that did not stop Trump from, on the very first day, taking a break from riding the links to crash a wedding being held there.

The Daily Mail reported the story, with video showing Trump climbing out from behind the wheel of a golf cart (naturally) before approaching the wedding party. “Where’s the bride?” Trump asks (not the groom, or the happy couple, but “the bride”), before shaking hands and thanking people for coming to the club. Trump has come under fire for taking this extended vacation so early in his tenure, but he insists that he’s all work at the club:

He has not announced why he was driving a golf cart around a golf course or why he was wearing golf clothes in order to take “meetings and calls.” The timing of his trip comes during a very shaky period for his White House, as Special Counsel Robert Mueller recently started probing Trump family financial records, has assembled a grand jury, and has started issuing subpoenas regarding his investigation.

One of the guests who met Trump wrote that he was “less orange than expected.”

Look, everyone deserves some vacation time, especially in a job as stressful as President of the United States. With Trump, however, it is the sheer hypocrisy and double standard surrounding the criticism of his predecessor, Barack Obama, and the way he is behaving. In addition, the lies and secrecy from his administration regarding his behavior are staggering. Take a look at the video below, and see if Trump looks like a man who is working hard with “meetings and calls,” or if he looks like a man enjoying a trip to the links.
