German Magazine Cover Features Trump Giving A Nazi Salute

The German Magazine Stern just went there, posting a startling image of President Donald Trump issuing a Nazi salute on the front cover.

Trump As A Nazi?

The publication portrays a mock-up of Trump draped in an American flag and doing the Nazi salute, something that’s illegal in Germany, according to The Hill. The cover also bears the caption Sein Kampf (His Struggle), an obvious reference to Adolf Hitler’s book Mein Kampf (My Struggle). An additional caption reads:

“Neo-Nazis, Ku Klux Klan, racism: As Donald Trump stirs the hate in America.”

And you can take a gander at the cover right here:

And even though he has faced sharp criticism over his nonchalant remarks, in which he blamed both sides for the deadly rally protest in Charlottesville, Virginia, earlier this month, he continues to downplay his remarks, Revere Press reports.

Nonetheless, the comments he made below drew sharp condemnation from the United Nations:

“What about the alt-left that came charging at the — as you say, the alt-right?”

“Do they have any sense of guilt? What about the fact they came charging with clubs in their hands, swinging clubs? Do they have any problem? I think they do. As far as I am concerned, that was a horrible, horrible day.”

Here’s what the UN had to say:

And Stern isn’t the first German magazine to portray Trump in a controversial pose. Der Spiegel, another German magazine, featured Trump wearing a KKK hood. The New Yorker and The Economist have also featured him with similar hoods, The Hill reports.

Trump is blaming the so-called alt-left for defending themselves against the very real alt-right, a group that has fanned the flames of racism and hatred in the U.S. That’s all these people ever do — stir up racism and hatred against innocent people and extol the non-existent virtues of being a Nazi. They would set up concentration camps if they could, and we shouldn’t forget this. That’s what progressives are fighting against.

And if Trump was a decent human being he’d understand this. But he’s not, so he doesn’t.
