Jim Bakker’s Paranoia Makes Him Think His Faith Will Get Him Killed

Remember when President Trump was campaigning and he said Christians would be able to say “Merry Christmas” again? Well, televangelist Jim Bakker is one of those gullible Christians who probably thought he couldn’t’.

He falsely made the claim on his show yesterday that he could be murdered for wearing a hat with a cross on it.

He proclaimed:

“I wear them out in public and I know I could be shot. I know that. There are crazy people out there, but I’m not going to deny the cross. I will not deny the cross! I won’t.”

I assure you, Mr. Bakker, no one is coming after you. No one is asking you to deny your faith.

People drive around with Jesus fish stickers on their cars. They gather in churches. They wear cross necklaces. Trust me, no one is persecuting them.

This is not the first bout of craziness to come out of Jim Bakker’s mouth. He also once said that Christians would start a civil war if President Donald Trump is impeached. He said:

“If it happens, there will be a civil war in the United States of America. The Christians will finally come out of the shadows because we are going to be shut up–permanently–if we’re not careful.”

He also once said that the victims of the Manchester attack cursed themselves and deserved the bombing attack that they dealt with. He said:

“If we could tell you what we know, and we don’t have time today, but we’re going to talk about some of those things. They literally invited these kinds of things to happen. They almost cursed themselves with this concert. I tell you what, God’s not going to put up with mockery. ‘Be not deceived, God is not mocked.’”

Here is the segment from his show:
