Here is the full text of the failed Senate gun control bill. It’s a very dark day in America. A day on which we know that our elected officials care more about money and their careers than they do about 20 six-year-olds. This fight isn’t over.
“To protect second amendment rights, ensure that all individuals who should be prohibited form buying a firearm are listed in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, and provide a responsible and consistent background check process.”
We weren’t asking the impossible. We were asking for the minimum. We received nothing.
