Like a bad cold, the conspiracy theorists known affectionately as “birthers” are back for more, declaring that this time they really have undeniable, blow-the-lid-off-the-White-House proof that President Barack Hussein Obama is ineligible to be the leader of the United States of America. ?Never mind that the facts have been

again and again. ?The evidence is so daunting?in fact that the lead investigator of the Cold Case Posse, Mike Zullo, claimed that a member of Congress that saw the evidence said that “a fifth-grader can see through [it]” and that his revelations shocked the crowd into open mouth awe. ?The Posse, whose premise seems rooted in vigilantism, was started by Arpaio in 2006 and consists of ex-police officers and lawyers who do the bidding of Maricopa County law enforcement according to their mission statement which states they are available any day, anytime to assist virtually any type of investigation from homicide to citizenship.

Zullo made his evidence public at the June 1st Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association’s annual gathering in St. Charles, Missouri. ?His boss, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, let loose his volunteer group on the President’s citizenship back in 2012. ?If Arpaio’s name rings a bell, it should. ?He is the iron-fisted Maricopa County sheriff from Arizona who has faced numerous allegations and claims of cruel treatment and poor living conditions?during his reign. ?Frighteningly enough, the misguided lawman has sympathetic sources in Washington D.C. ?The keynote speaker at the convention was Congressman Steve Stockman of Texas, who threatened President Obama with impeachment over the Second Amendment. ?Stockman initially sat in on only the public presentation, but according to Carl Gallups via an interview on PPSIMMONS Radio, he was later invited back to the private meeting for primarily law enforcement personnel in which Zullo revealed even more sensitive information.
It should be no surprise that a man of Sheriff Joe’s tax wasting inclinations would launch such a redundant project into the debunked conspiracy revolving around the President’s citizenship, especially when Arpaio was nearly forced into a recall election by petitioners and found to be using unconstitutional law enforcement methods. ?The Posse is an all-volunteer effort, with the members being funded by private donors, however Arpaio is calling on the government to set aside time, money, and resources to investigate the incessant, yet always changing allegations about the legitimacy of the President’s citizenship. ?According to World Net Daily, Zullo said:
Arpaio continues to recommend that the Congress of the United States open an immediate investigation, including the appointment of a select committee, as regards to the authenticity of Mr. Obama’s documentation, whether any crimes have been committed, and to determine Mr. Obama’s eligibility for the office of president of the United States.
Zullo’s allegations and findings circled around the White House released image of President Obama’s birth certificate. He claims it contains evidence of illicit handling or forgery which he said were visibly present in the computer scanned copy provided by the President. Claiming an unnamed source, Zullo has said he has unbelievable proof of fraud, even though?as recently as 2011, the director of Hawaii’s Department of Health, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, expressed to NBC News that regardless of the insurmountable wealth of citizenship her department could provide to prove the President is American, hardcore birthers, such as the Cold Case Posse, would find something to question.
Even earlier, in 2009, Dr. Fukino?released a statement,?after physically examining the documents with a witness a second?time,?explaining,
I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen. I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008, over eight months ago.
Joshua Wisch, a spokesman for Hawaii’s attorney general told the Huffington Post that not only does Hawaii have some of the best managed personal health department records in the country, they are also the most heavily guarded to prevent theft and fraud. ?Wisch added that state law does not allow for photocopying or release of the original form, not even to the person who is actually named on the certificate. ?The list of Zullo’s demands for documents range from the redundant to the ridiculous. Zullo, Arpaio, and the entire birther movement are proving once again that they will not rest no matter how futile the cause. That even in the face of overwhelming evidence against their cause they will not rest, until at least 11:59 AM, January 20th, 2017 when President Obama’s second term is over. Of course, their reign of redundancy and ridiculousness may well continue if another Democrat wins.
