On Tuesday July 9th President Barack Obama was visiting the state of Colorado. ?While greeting people in the city of Denver a man offered to share his pot with him according to a story on?Mediate.com.? The story includes Instagram video of the video in which you can here the man off camera say??Want a hit, man??. The POTUS ?turns his head in classic smooth Barack Obama style and laughs.
It should be noted that in Colorado on January 1st 2014?the sale of recreational marijuana to anyone age 21 or older became legal. Any Colorado resident with a state ID can buy up to one ounce of pot. People from out of state are limited to a quarter of an ounce.
Don’t worry the man in the video was perfectly within legal rights to share his one ounce with a friend as long as no money is exchanged. However, according to the Colorado?Clean Indoor Air Act you can’t smoke in many establishments. So I hope this toker was in a private establishment that is 420 friendly.
