Only In Maine: Check Out What Two Teens Pull Off With Their Subaru Outback

Maine is known for many things in modern day society. Some of these things include the acceptable spelling of the word car as ?cah,? or our tempered and moody Governor Paul LePage. But what Maine is most widely known for is the people and their effort towards being different.

And if you aren’t one of the lucky over a million people to live in vacationland that’s okay, but you won’t get to experience what it’s like to be truly unique. So here’s something that lets you know that Mainer’s know how to get through a winter one way or another and are a one of a kind type of people.

We, as Mainers, understand many different problems, such as space issues. We understand that winters can be cold and transportation gets harder each day during the winter months, but two?Mainers have decided to get through this winter by taking their?snowmobile with them.

A few day ago, Jon Barter and Mike Joslyn, and their clever ?mainah? ingenuity, used?a little good ol? Maine spirit to transport their snowmobile. The incident, or should we say, ingenuity, occurred at a local Walmart when somebody proved that the state was truly unique by transporting their snowmobile in the back of their Subaru Outback.

While many people can attest to the versatility of the Subaru Outback, I don’t think the owner’s manual included a ?how to transport your snowmobile? section, but one could argue it was only a matter of time before something like this had happened. The Bangor Police Department even awarded the two boys a t-shirt for the feat. The two boys’ feat generated over 1.4 million shares of the photo, itself.

One thing is for sure, Maine and it’s people are truly one of a kind.
