In a disgusting?case of Statutory Rape, Irene Khan, a former science teacher at Imagine Charter School in West Melbourne, Florida has been charged with having sex with her 14 year old student and other pedophilic acts.
This story that might sound straight out of a teenage fantasy dream is as follows – A 14 year old boy wrote his phone number on a classroom blackboard in an attempt to woo his female classmates. Instead, his 34 year old science teacher Irene Khan contacted him. She started texting and calling him and finally convinced the boy to meet at motels. This was followed by romps in motels, the teacher’s residence and her car. The trysts occurred over a period spanning several months.
Khan was fired from her teaching position for unrelated incidents before this came to light.?She has been?avoiding jail for 3 years, but has finally been charged. This was not her first act of the kind. She was notorious for illicit and inappropriate behavior in front of her students, which included showing her students her tattoos.
Florida cop Steve Wilkinson said:
?She got into a sexual relationship with him over several months, and we got information on that, and we brought the victim in and questioned him?.
After being charged with lewd and lascivious conduct, Khan pleaded guilty on Wednesday. The judge asked her,
?Is it your desire to enter a plea to two years’ community control followed by 10 years’ probation??
She agreed.?Khan has been sentenced to 2 years of jail and?ordered to register herself?as a sex offender. Following her brief stint in jail,?she will serve a 10 year long probation period. She?has been ordered not?to?have any kind of contact with children (other than her own two kids). She can’t wear anything that might woo children. Should she repeat any such act, she will be imprisoned for 30 years.
