Penn State Football Player Isn’t Injured When He Tackles Tree For Training

Ground and pound and get big are the names of the game in football. Tireless hours of training methods and high protein leads some to become great.

Injured
Screengrab.

Penn State Nittany Lions 1st-Team All-Big Ten Defensive Tackle Anthony Zettel took unorthodox training methods to a whole other level when he tackled a tree this off-season.

The 6’4, 278-pound frame didn’t even balk as the tree fell straight to the ground. Even more interesting, Zettel?wasn’t injured.

The Nittany Lions recorded 17 tackles for loss, 8 sacks and 3 interceptions last season, so there isn’t much that Zettel can’t do.

He can also cross “tackle a tree” off his bucket list.
