Anti-Gay Hate Groups: Evangelical ‘Hitler Pastor’ Says He Hopes Caitlyn Jenner Dies

From the YouTube description

An Arizona pastor said he prayed for God to rip out the heart of Caitlyn Jenner and cast her soul into the fiery depths of Hell.

Pastor Steven Anderson, who predicted an ?AIDS-free Christmas? if all LGBT people were put to death, explained to his congregation at Faithful Word Baptist Church that it was not wrong to pray for the deaths of your enemies ? like he had done for President Barack Obama…

Steven Anderson is pastor of the “Faithful Word Baptist Church,” in Tempe, Arizona. Anderson established the church in 2009, and has since used it as a pulpit for hatred and intolerance. The Caitlyn Jenner sermon?is just a long list of crazy and evil things this pastor has preached.

In August of 2009, Anderson received national attention for his sermon titled “Why I Hate Barrack Obama”. In this sermon, he said that he was praying for the death of President Obama. Anderson was contacted by the secret service regarding his statements, but no charges were filed. From Wikipedia,

“A CBS News report notes Anderson “didn’t say he wanted his parishioners to attack the president, he did say the country would benefit from Mr. Obama dying”.?Anderson also told KNXV-TV that he’d like Obama to die of natural causes, as he does not “want him to be a martyr” as “we don’t need another holiday.”?Anderson told columnist Michelangelo Signorile that he “would not judge or condemn” anyone who killed the president.”

The Southern Poverty Law Center?has listed the Anderson’s church as one of America’s many?anti-gay hate groups. Anderson is on record saying the following about gays,

“The biggest hypocrite in the world is the person who believes in the death penalty for murderers but not for homosexuals.”

When he learned about his church’s designation by the SPLC, he had this to say,

“I do hate homosexuals and if hating homosexuals makes our church a hate group then that’s what we are.”

Here’s a fun story where Anderson gets his just deserts. From Wikipedia

Anderson made national news when he refused to answer questions at an internal Border Patrol checkpoint on Interstate 8, about 70 miles east of Yuma. Anderson disputed the constitutionality of the checkpoint, triggering a 90-minute standoff that was not resolved until agents broke out the windows of the car Anderson was driving and shocked him repeatedly with a taser while he was lying prone on the ground. Anderson entered a not-guilty plea at a court proceeding on April 17, 2009, where he was arraigned on two misdemeanor counts of resisting a lawful order. He was acquitted of the two charges on August 13, 2010.

It’s too bad Anderson was acquitted in 2010, I think he would have found his soul mate in prison. Here is a video reporting on his recent sermon.
