It’s time for another video that will make you feel old. This time we’re looking at the classic rotary phone.
Growing up, I don’t believe I ever used a rotary phone. Our phone hung on the wall and had buttons on the front for easy dialing. I did occasionally see them in offices and department stores, but that was pretty much it.
These kids appear to be completely perplexed by this foreign object. Watch them try to guess what a dial tone sounds like. It’s pretty hilarious. In their defense, the cell phone is pretty much all we use these days. Aside from my grandma, I don’t know anyone who has a landline anymore. The cell phone rules supreme!
