
It was only a matter of time until social media joined the fray over the Kim Davis case. Davis, you no doubt know, is the Kentucky clerk who has adamantly refused to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples on what she claims are religious grounds.
Which explains the hashtag that began on Twitter: #FreeKimDavis. But what the originators of that hashtag didn’t count on was those opposed to Davis’s actions and the apparent hypocrisy of her multiple marriages getting in on the fun. Here’s a sampling of some of the awesome responses so far:
