It is no exaggeration to say that Donald Trump is an egomaniac. This man is in love with himself, and he is never shy about patting himself on the back or telling others just how great he is.
But did you know this guy even has a morning ritual he engages in as a way to further enlarge his already massive ego?
According to Michael D’Antonio, author of Never Enough: Donald Trump and his Pursuit of Success, the Donald needs to constantly be at the center of attention:
“He feeds on attention. He needs it probably more than he needs his breakfast in the morning.”
D’Antonio reports that Trump wakes up each and every morning at about 6 or 6:30am. His staff have been instructed to cut out all the articles on him found in all print media, and also to print out those from online media. His first action each morning is looking at these clippings. Trump, according to D’Antonio, doesn’t actually read the articles he is mentioned in. Instead:
“He gets them with his name circled, then he distributes them.”
It is also instructive to know that, D’Antonio reports:
“This is a fellow who for a long time kept a collection of video tapes nearby that he could pop into a VHS and watch himself succeed.”
OK, so we know Trump is a massive egomaniac who demands that all eyes be on him at all times, but this is still just creepy as hell. Can you imagine this guy meeting with a world leader at the White House and pulling out the day’s press clips as a way to impress the other person?
Thankfully, to add some levity to this revelation about King Donald, we have a video made by two German guys who mimic Trump’s routine in the morning. It’s in German, but you don’t have to speak the language to appreciate what they’re saying. No doubt their video, and this article, will be presented to Donald tomorrow morning.
Just in case that happens to be true, I have a personal message for Donald Trump: No one likes you. They just want to wait and see what stupid thing you say next. Oh, and your hair looks ridiculous. Have a great day, douchebag!
