President Obama has had a Twitter account for years now, but he just got a personal Facebook page. Judging by his early posts, the President seems to be delighted to have another social media avenue for communicating with the American people.
But while it’s wonderful to have the President on Facebook, his debut also brought out the right wing nutjobs and trolls who seem to delight in spewing out vile, racist crap. Here’s some of the hatred that has already shown up in response to the President:

The one good thing about all of these negative responses: If so many ignorant and intolerant jerks have a problem with what you’re doing, then you must be doing something right.
