Perhaps you’ve heard the expression, You have an amazing grasp of the obvious. And it certainly applies to the idiots on the Fox News morning show “Fox and Friends.”

The morons who host the show, Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade, were discussing a recent interview with President Obama in which he said he wouldn’t want to run for a third term in the White House, even if he could, mainly because of the toll it would take on his family.

Brian Kilmeade then read a tweet from a viewer:

“I believe he would beat anybody in the current GOP crop.”

No doubt in my mind about that fact. But of course, we all know that a President can only serve two four-year terms. Only one President has served more than two terms: Franklin D. Roosevelt, and the Constitution was amended after his death so the GOP could guarantee another Democrat didn’t beat them as badly as FDR did for four straight elections.

Kilmeade, ever the babbling fool, then remarked:

“That could be the case. We’ll see.”

Even Steve Doocy, who is usually too dumb to get in out of the pouring rain, could detect the nonsense in what Kilmeade had just said, and interjected:

“But then again, he can’t run. So, he wouldn’t be running.”

Well duh freaking duh! How in the world does someone as totally vapid and ignorant as Kilmeade (and Doocy, for that matter) get a job on television, on a so-called news network? But of course we all know the answer: You don’t have to be intelligent to work at Fox News, you just have to be able to parrot the day’s propaganda and talking points every hour on the hour.
