Yes, you read that right. Texas gun nuts are threatening our President. Let’s hope the Secret Service catches these a-holes soon.
President Obama is attending the South by Southwest technology and music festival in Texas. So, these nuts hatched a plane to scare and intimidate the President by openly carrying their weapons. One of them even said his fellow firearm enthusiasts should “get a clear shot”and assassinate him if possible.
Kriss Elliot, an Azure Solutions consultant at Insight Enterprises, said “If you get a clear shot, fire for effect.” Someone with maybe a little bit of sense said that they should keep people out of prison, but he also said that the assassination would ramp up attacks on the Second Amendment. If you look on Elliot’s Facebook page, there are plenty of Texas Pride GIFs and articles about wanting permit-less carry laws in Texas. There was even a Facebook event (that has been since taken down) for these nuts at the festival in Texas.
Back in January, Obama faced Republican flack over his executive orders on gun control. Among other things, he is requiring all gun dealers to conduct background checks on all gun purchasers. He finally expanded it to include gun shows and online firearms dealers. They also increase the amount of staffers investigating these background checks. Obama also promised $500 million to increase mental health care.
The gun nuts are still crying that their Constitutional rights are being threatened and that the new measures would not solve the problem. After all these mass shootings, they are still crying about their Constitutional right to carry firearms. It’s ridiculous! More weapons will not solve the problem!
These idiots should be put in prison for these threats.
