Trump Aide Just ‘Spilled The Beans’ On Heidi Cruz And It’s Pure Gold

In a recent swap of insults and testosterone fueled chest beating, Trump and Ted Cruz have sunk to new lows in Presidential campaigning. Katrina Pierson, a spokesperson for Donald Trump, has carried out the campaign’s promise to “spill the beans” on Heidi Cruz.

Last week a super PAC hilariously named “Make America Awesome” published a Facebook ad featuring a picture of a young, nude Melania Trump lounging on a fur rug, wearing only jewels. The ad copy referenced the idea of making the lovely Melania our First Lady. It suggested that people vote for Ted Cruz instead. The ad made no mention of the fact that the photo was taken when Melania was a 30-year-old fashion model, and before she was married to the Donald. Still, the point was made, and the mud-slinging at the wives had begun.

While Cruz denies any tie to the group behind the incredibly distasteful ad, Trump reacted with his typical childish temper. In a Tweet sent out on Tuesday night, the Donald warned Cruz to be careful, or he would “spill the beans on your wife.”

After days of ugly back and forth name calling and finger wagging, it seems that Trump has lived up to his promise and decided to “spill” those “beans.”

In a snarky interview this afternoon with MSNBC, Ms. Pierson stated that it was easy to point fingers at Heidi Cruz. She accused Ms. Cruz of being a “Bush operative,” although she failed to clarify what she meant by that. Her next accusation was that Ms. Cruz was an employee of one of the key creators of NAFTA, the international free trade agreement that many conservatives, including her husband, consider to be a globalist, anti-American mistake.

Trump’s spokesperson went on to say that Ms. Cruz had also been a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a group which Cruz himself had referred to as a “pit of vipers.” Again, as part of his strong anti globalist philosophy, Cruz has been intensely critical of a group which he claims favors our international trade partners over American interests.

Finally, Ms. Pierson, brought up Heidi Cruz’ career at Goldman Sachs, where she is a managing director. Apparently, when the Senator and his wife were filling out the required Federal Elections Commission paperwork in order to run for President, they managed to somehow leave off a loan from Goldman Sachs. The loan, which was for $750,000 and eventually increased to a million, came with an interest rate of about 3%. It allowed the couple to avoid having to liquidate personal assets in order to pay for the campaign.

Ms. Pierson summed up her remarks by stating that Ms. Cruz entire career had been spent on the very ideas that her husband has criticized throughout the campaign.

We can only wonder what the next round in the wife slapping contest will be.
