How, you may ask, could any woman support or vote for Donald Trump? This is a man who has called women fat pigs, said horrible things about female journalists, and once told a contestant on his reality show that he bet she would look good on her knees.
Yet Martin Savidge, a reporter with CNN, interviewed several women Monday in Arizona who said they love the Donald, and they even attempted to explain why in their own bizarre, highly nonsensical way.
One woman, when asked about Trump saying that Fox News host Megyn Kelly was bleeding from her “whatever,” told Savidge:
“You don’t know what his connotation was! Because he insults men as well. I can’t be upset that he insults women.”
Another woman, who just so happens to be Mexican-American, said this of Trump, who has remarked that Mexican immigrants are drug dealers and rapists:
“I just find that what you see is what you get with this man. And that is what I want.”
A third woman who said she was a leader in her church commented:
“He really does love his country, loves people, he really has respect for women.”
One of the women also said she admires Trump’s policies, as if he actually has any policy other than hate and division:
“It’s his policies that we admire. And that’s really the crux of it and has nothing to do with what he might call somebody or what kind of terminology he uses.”
You’ve heard that Americans are getting dumber all the time. Some have called it the “dumbing down” of America. Well, this video proves conclusively that many people in this country are indeed way beyond stupid:
