Boom! Swimsuit Model Shuts Down Fat Shaming Trolls

Iskra Lawrence is gorgeous by any definition. Voluptuous, curvy, blonde, and beautiful as hell.

She is a model for American Eagle’s Aerie brand of lingerie and swimsuits. The line is aimed toward teens and young women who are on the curvier side.

She is also a badass feminist who isn’t about to let the haters body shame her or any other woman on the planet. The lovely Iskra struggled with her own body image for years as she tried to launch her modeling career. She was told that she was “too big” and “too fat”.

Eventually she came to realize that her body was just fine, thank you. She stopped trying to reshape herself, and instead became a very successful “plus size” model.

Iskra recently posted a lighthearted photo of herself to her Instagram account. In the picture she is lounging in her satin underwear. She is surrounded by bags of potato chips and is reaching into the biggest bag for a snack. The image apparently offended a loud mouthed troll who slammed the model for being a “fat cow” and told her to “stop eating McDonalds.”

Iskra wasn’t having it. I should mention that the model is a spokeswoman for the National Eating Disorders Seal of Approval Campaign. This powerful campaign seeks to promote healthy eating and healthy body images in both males and females. It is all about acceptance of all the various shapes and sizes of the human body.

So how did the lovely Iskra respond to the jerk on the internet?

She posted a slow motion video of herself eating a chip and then gazing straight at the camera as she raises her middle finger.

The point was made. Shut the hell up, fat shamers. Have a chip, everyone. Celebrate your life, celebrate your body. Go for it.
