Sebastian Gorka, a national security Editor for Breitbart News, was paid $8,000 by the Trump Campaign in October of 2015 for “consulting.”
It’s worth noting that Gorka hasn’t really written much for Breitbart since late last year and that his title isn’t all it seems to be.
Despite Bannon calling him ‘nat sec editor’ source tell me Gorka hasn’t been full time editor since 2014…now more of an ‘honorary title’

Gorka has made a number of interesting choices in the last year, including attempting to take a gun through airport security.
This isn’t the first time Breitbart has had such connections to Trump. The Trump campaign was recently accused of paying for favorable coverage from the site.
Earlier this year, editor Joel Pollak reached out to Trump’s campaign to inquire if he needed a speech writer. If his name sounds familiar, it’s for good reason – he ordered his staff to stop defending Michelle Fields. You may remember her as the woman assaulted by Corey Lewandowski in March, Trump’s campaign manager.
This caused several staff members to resign, including Jarrett Stepman. The former Associate Editor had the following to say during his resignation:
“Breitbart News has always been open about being a grassroots, conservative publication, but in my opinion we are working with or perhaps even taking direction from a presidential campaign, which is unacceptable journalistic behavior. I believe Breitbart News is becoming less of a news site and more of a propaganda organization dedicated to the Trump campaign.”
The Trump campaign has yet to comment on the latest Breitbart news.
