MUST SEE: SNL Brings Back The Church Lady To Make Fun Of Ted Cruz And The Donald (Video)

No one was expecting it, so that made it even funnier and more effective: “Saturday Night Live” brought the Church Lady (played by Dana Carvey) back last night just so they could make fun of Ted Cruz. Cruz was then introduced in a dual way: As Texas Senator and also as Satan:

“Please welcome Satan.”

Cruz/Satan laughingly said:

“John’s always coming up with hilarious nicknames for me.”

After Cruz made sure to mention his “strong Christian values,” the Church Lady took him to task:

“Has anyone ever told you that you’re just a little bit preachy?. Was it part of God’s plan for you to get humiliated by an orange mannequin? That’s an odd plan for God to have for you.”

With that, Trump was then brought onstage, announced as “presumptive tangerine tornado.” Trump then made a poor attempt to prove his faith by stating that his favorite books of the Bible are “Corinthians Part Deux,” and “Too Genesis, Too Furious.” And he also proudly declared:

“The part where Jon Snow comes back to life. That’s great Bible.”

Even though it was just a cameo appearance, it sure is great to have the Church Lady back on SNL. Watch the segment for yourself and prepare to laugh:
