We all know that Katniss Everdeen is a kickass woman. She takes no prisoners.
An article in the Huffington Post revealed that Jennifer Lawrence, who plays the heroic Katniss in the “Hunger Games” movies, is just as tough. The actress appeared on the Graham Norton show on May 13th. The talk show is broadcast in the UK, where Trump is perhaps even less popular than he is here in the U.S. In fact, as shown in the Tweet below, the British Parliament actually debated what to do if Trump is elected in November.

Lawrence was accompanied on the show by actor Johnny Depp, who has recently made several very public comments against Trump. Graham Norton brought up the topic of Donald Trump, then showed a slightly creepy photo of Depp impersonating him.
The image came from a satirical biopic that starred Depp as the billionaire blowhard on the website Funny or Die.
Norton then turned to Jennifer Lawrence and asked if she had ever met the Republican candidate. She answered that she hadn’t yet met Trump, but that she had once been at a concert he was also attending. Said Lawrence:
“I was at a concert where I heard he was attending, so I had my full security team, like I was like, ‘Find Donald Trump.’ I was adamant on finding him and making a video of me going, ‘Hey, Trump, fuck you!’”
Ms. Lawrence matched the words with the gesture and both the audience and the people on stage erupted in laughs.

A lot of people have fantasized about being as bold, strong, and fearless as Katniss Everdeen. I know I have. Now I wish I had the guts, and the opportunity, to give Donald Trump the same salute that Jennifer Lawrence just did on TV.
