Bill Clinton Reveals His Reasons Why He Thinks Hillary Should Win The Presidency

As Hillary Clinton’s husband, it is expected that Bill Clinton fully supports his wife’s bid for the presidency.

In the event that Hillary Clinton is elected in November, it would be the first of several things: it would be the first time that a woman would become a US president and it would also be the first time that a former first lady would become president and a former president would become the first gentleman.

In one recent interview with the former president, he related the real reason he believes Hillary should win the presidency. He said that serving as a US Secretary of State gives Hillary the best training for the presidency.

Bill argued that the position of Secretary of State is concerned with both domestic and international responsibilities. As Secretary of State, Hillary was the alter ego in domestic and international affairs. She was the highest appointed diplomatic official.

In his visit to the Reo Diner in Woodbridge, he was quoted saying:

“There’s turmoil in elections everywhere. You’ve been watching it in Europe. You know, they had a very close election in Austria over whether they should basically close the borders.”

This was in reference to the similarity of the recent Austrian presidential election that almost elected an Austrian version of Trump to the highest position of power in the land. Norber Hofer, a right-wing populist candidate, narrowly lost the runoff election.

Norber had a Trump-inspired slogan, “putting Austria first.” He also promised to erect a wall that will prevent Muslims from crossing the southern border.

Bill emphasized that the next president should have a strong background in foreign affairs and international diplomacy. He said that skills in these areas are not only helpful, but practically a part of the requirements for a would-be president.

Trump’s xenophobic policies will not only worsen the foreign relations of the US to the rest of the world, but also will have a serious impact on the US economy. Bill Clinton has pointed out that Hillary is capable of delivering strong diplomatic relationships and defense for the United States.

As Secretary of State, Hilary had a high approval rating as 67 percent of Americans are satisfied with her official actions. However, the main problem is that she is an unpopular presidential candidate. According to one survey, about 54 percent of Americans do not like her.

Hilary might have the qualifications and experience, but she is not popular enough to have a strong mandate if she wins in the presidential race.
