Now there is a website that can help to prevent just such a scenario. Yes, my friends, someone has set up a site to “Make America Date Again.” TrumpSingles.com is just the place for those who want to meet that someone special without having to explain why they think the wall will be really terrific.
The New York Post is reporting that a lifelong Republican named David Goss got the idea for the site when a female friend described what often happened when her dates discovered her support for the Donald. One guy actually did get up in the middle of dinner and leave her with the check.
Goss explained:
“I think there’s a special stigma when people say they’re supporting Trump, because of some of the brash things that he’s said.”
Goss may mean “brash” comments about building a wall between the U.S. and Mexico. Or about banning all Muslims from the U.S. Some people might call those comments paranoid and racist, but Goss likes the word “brash.”
The TrumpSingles.com website features two heterosexual, white couples. It’s free to sign up for the site, but if users want to send more than one message per day, they need to pay $4.95 for a monthly subscription.
So far the site has about 6,000 users, but Goss hopes that number will increase when he rolls out a mobile app next week.
Goss wants everyone to know that his site is legitimate, and is for people who are looking for true love. He says:
“We’re not a hookup service. We want to be an actual real dating site that helps people find real love.”
All we can hope is that not too many of them reproduce.
