Yesterday, the Hillary Clinton campaign announced that they raised nearly $70 million in the month of June, which puts her far ahead of Donald Trump, and also increases her cash on hand total to $44 million before the conventions are even held later this month.
So presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump thought it would be a great idea to tweet this early Saturday morning:

You may notice that there is a photo of Clinton over a field of money, and the words “Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!” are in a red Star of David, which is the same symbol placed on the front of shirts of Jews in Nazi Germany so they could be easily identified. When you consider that Trump has recommended American Muslims be required a carry an ID card at all times, he probably has great admiration for the Nazis and their methods.
Also, during the primaries, several neo-Nazi and KKK-affiliated groups vocally endorsed Trump. Some even made robocalls on his behalf. And a white nationalist was even on the ballot to be a Trump delegate before the media caught wind of it and the Trump camp had to remove him.
The reaction from thousands on Twitter to Trump’s posting has been swift and right on point. Take a look:
Just saw #DonaldTrump's Star of David tweet. I'm impressed by his ability to find a way to insult literally every kind of human being.

Star of David: Great. Now where are my jackboots? https://t.co/ywXC8d8cj6— Schültzie (@muffnbear) July 2, 2016
A Star of David over a pile of money, Mr. Trump? THIS is textbook anti-Semitic imagery. #louderthanadogwhistle https://t.co/XXZ5MtfSde

Star of David is a totally classy touch and doesn't at all reek of baffling Jew-baiting. https://t.co/DILR6DpHZ4

Really excited for Trump to try to deflate the Star of David tweet by asking "Where's my Jew" at his next rally #pivot

Hi, @realDonaldTrump graphics team. Can you please explain your choice of a Star of David over money and 'corrupt'? pic.twitter.com/gvexX4S4QQ

Trump was actually having a halfway decent week (for him). He had the meeting between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton, the fact that Hillary is being interviewed by the FBI today, and is on the cusp of the GOP convention. But he just couldn’t resist taking to Twitter and sending out this offensive message, which, even if it isn’t intentional–and with Trump, who knows if it is or not?–once again raises troubling questions about his own temperament and fitness to hold the highest office in the country.
One thing is certain: Trump is the master of shooting himself in the foot, and he seems to have an endless supply of ammo in that boulder he calls a brain.
