When Donald Trump announced that Indiana Governor Mike Pence would be his running mate earlier today, the campaign also unveiled a new logo for the newly-minted GOP team. Take a look:

No sooner had the logo been sent out than Twitter lit up with lots of well-deserved ridicule, some of it hilarious:
What is the T doing to that P? https://t.co/tDvYm2QJYi

Maybe it’s just me, but this seems very inappropriate for a campaign logo pic.twitter.com/KJfHIuj2Sf

.@realDonaldTrump This took me 5 minutes. Your graphic designers are somehow more incompetent than you. pic.twitter.com/7inPMN4iUF

If you put the Hillary logo next to the Trump logo, it looks like they're double-teaming Pence pic.twitter.com/gnlTzEZskM

Nice, a logo that says "Trump will fuck all of America, and Mike Pence especially." https://t.co/xg7AfueNXs

When you see the new Trump / Pence logo and think of Beavis. "TP FOR MY BUNGHOLE". pic.twitter.com/wiSM2m0qQO

Let’s be perfectly honest here: No matter what logo you use for a teaming of Donald Trump with Mike Pence, it’s still one of the most extreme far right tickets in American history. Trump is just flat-out batshit crazy and pure evil, while Pence is one of the most hard right-wing conservatives to ever walk the face of the planet.
Put it another way: You can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a damn pig! Now we have two pigs on the same ticket. Hillary, go ahead and pack your bags because you are Oval Office bound.
