MSNBC Host DESTROYS Trump’s Campaign Manager: ‘It’s Like Lurch Leading A Campaign’ (VIDEO)

After the disastrous start to the 2016 Republican National Convention on Monday–complete with plagiarized lines used in a speech by Donald Trump’s wife, Melania–some were calling for campaign manager Paul Manafort to be fired. Instead, he was on various cable news shows Tuesday trying to spin Mrs. Trump’s blatant thievery on Hillary Clinton. He did a very poor job.

Earlier this morning on the MSNBC show “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski said she thinks Manafort should stay in the background and not do television interviews:

“He is the most negative, harsh sort of person I’ve ever seen leading a campaign. It’s like Lurch leading a campaign. No, seriously. I’m telling the truth.”

A video clip was then shown of Manafort saying yesterday:

“When Hillary Clinton is threatened by a female, the first thing she does is try and destroy the person.”

To that, Brzezinski countered:

“He didn’t do that, did he? He said it was a female thing? He used the word ‘female’? Are you kidding me? What year is it? Is this 1970, Lurch?”

Personally, I’m not and never have been a fan of Mika Brzezinski or Joe Scarborough, but what Brzezinski said today is absolutely true. Paul Manafort is a very abrasive man who clearly has no idea how to run a campaign. Which is why I hope he continues in his current position. I’m hoping for a complete blowout of Trump in November; one in which he doesn’t even reach triple digits in electoral votes.

The Trump campaign–especially at the state and local level–is in complete disarray and is also having trouble raising money. If Trump thinks he can win with such a ragtag operation, then he clearly is as delusional as we’ve always assumed he is.
