In case you’ve been wrapped up with the cancellation of Dr. Drew’s show, or Donald Trump and Rudy Guiliani questioning Democratic presidential nominee Sec. Hillary Clinton’s health, we’ve got a diversion.

Donald Trump’s doctor, Dr. Harold Bornstein, has made a statement about the Trumpster’s health — and it’s a DOOZY.

When Bornstein wrote a letter signing off on GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump’s health, the letter itself was eyebrow-raising in its hyperbole. It was originally posted on Facebook but the link has since been taken down. Read the letter below.

Astonishingly excellent! And he’ll be “the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency”!

But that’s just another day in Trump-landia. Here is Trump’s statement about his doctor’s note.

But none of that is as CRAZY as watching Dr. Bornstein explain himself. Here’s a short clip:

Dr. Bornstein still insists that The Donald is healthy enough to be president.

“His health is excellent, especially his mental health,” he told NBC at his Park Avenue office.

The doc admits, however, that he wrote the letter in haste. And I’m not kidding. He wrote it in FIVE MINUTES. While Trump’s limo was literally waiting outside the door to rush off with the letter.

The good doctor did seem a bit embarrassed about the poor grammar and just overall craziness of the letter.

“In a rush, I think some of those words didn’t come out exactly as the way they were meant,” said Bornstein.

And I think this statement pretty much discounts any credibility this doctor may have ever had.

“I thought about it all day and at the end…Um..I get rushed and I get anxious when I get rushed so I tried to get four or five lines down as fast as possible that they would be happy with.”

And this is what Donald Trump considers to be a credible medical history.

But what’s really important? Dr. Bornstein says it’s this:

“His brain is turned on 24 hours a day.”

But was this crazy letter an accurate indication of how Dr. Bornstein communicates? Well, not really. When asked if he used his own words or channeled Trump, the doctor said this:

“I think I picked up his kind of language and then just interpreted it to my own.”

Apparently he felt pressured because just two weeks prior to the writing of the letter, Trump put this nonsense up on Twitter:

Bornstein says he is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. When pressed, he again asserted that Trump’s health is fine….just fine.

“I don’t think he’s in any better or worse than the average person that goes and exercises every single day,” he said. “Doesn’t smoke, doesn’t drink — and that’s simply the best advantage you can have to live — and he’s got a good family history.”

And here’s his ringing endorsement.

“I like Donald Trump because I think he likes me,” he said.

After three decades, you “think” he likes you?
