Oh, good.
Another hateful Republican is inciting violence against those who disagree with him. This time a GOP candidate has used social media to publicly hurl rape threats at a journalist.
Just what this country needs in a time of divisiveness and fear.
RawStory reports that a creature called Mike Krawitz is running for a position on his local governing committee in New Jersey. I won’t refer to Krawitz as a “man,” because real men do not threaten women with rape.
The Krawitz creature is running for a seat on the West Deptford Township Committee, which is not exactly big time politics. Still, it is a government seat, funded by tax dollars, and it puts the candidate into the public eye.
Daily Beast journalist Olivia Nuzzi managed to evoke the ire of this particular candidate, and his response was horrific.
Nuzzi had posted a link about Donald Trump on her Facebook page. Because Krawitz is a huge Trump fan,(of course he is), he took exception to her post. He basically lost his sh*t when he saw that she was referring to a story about Trump and his first wife and some of their revolting sexual behavior.
For obscure reasons, the enraged Krawitz wrote each of his replies to the journalist with a period after every word. He wrote like this:
“Bill. Clinton. Cheated. On. Hillary. :). With. Multiple. Women.”
Hilarious.
Ms. Nuzzi and her followers pushed back, and the furious nutcake went straight into the gutter. Krawitz, who has since deleted his comments, posted that he hoped the writer would be raped that day by a Syrian refugee.

Holy crap. Talk about rolling all of your conservative paranoias into one terror stricken basket. We know that fear is what motivates conservative thinkers, but seriously? Raped by a Syrian refugee?
Women have to deal with this kind of garbage all the time. Sexual violence and the threat of it have been a part of women’s lives forever.
It’s a pretty sad day, though, when the threat of rape comes from someone who wants to call himself a leader.
The only upside of this horror story is that probably ended the budding political career of Mike Kawatiz.
Unless of course, the special Trump rules also apply to his followers. In which case, it doesn’t matter if you threaten people, incite rape or murder, or lie your way through every day. Your loyal troop of troglodytes will follow you blindly.
