Everyone knows that if Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has any chance at all of becoming President, he needs to win the swing states.
States like Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida are absolute must-wins for the Republican candidate. Both he and his Democratic opponent, Hillary Rodham Clinton, have been advertising heavily in those states.
The so called “ground game” may be what makes the real difference. Candidates need volunteers, offices, mailing addresses. You know, they need organizations.
As of September 1, Secretary Clinton has opened 51 offices in the state of Florida.
Mr. Trump has a grand total of one office in the Sunshine State. One.
There has been another “office” out there, though, and its drawn some attention from Trump supporters.
RawStory reports that for more than 8 months, posts and comments have been appearing on a Facebook site called “Donald Trump for President Dade County Office.”
People have tried to sign up to volunteer on the site. They have praised the candidate for his positions. Some have stated how darn proud they are to be Americans, now that a real leader has emerged.
Here’s what is so incredibly hilarious about that last one comment. This is what the page actually looks like:
Yep. A big orange tom cat with a crazy grin is the image on the page. Trump supporters think this is a real site!
You really have to wonder about these people. There are posts on the page making fun of everything about Trump and his lunatic operation. Posts like this one:

While we’re questioning the intelligence of the Trumpsters who commented on this page, we also have to question the Big Orange One himself. The fake page has been up and running since New Year’s Eve, and no body in Trump world figured it out.
It was created by a liberal Democrat named Mark Bernstein as a prank. He was having a Trump themed New Eve party (only cheetos and orange crush served, perhaps?). He created the faux Facebook page to entertain his progressive guests.
Now the joke is on Trump. He has no infrastructure whatsoever in the vital swing state of Florida. He doesn’t have the staff or the organizational skills to notice that he’s being pranked and to fix it.
Of course, now that the story is out and Trump is being mocked publicly, something will surely be done. He probably won’t open any actual campaign offices, but I bet he’ll threaten to sue Mr. Bernstein.
Bernstein himself hopes so. This is what he said:
“The day his lawyer sends me a threatening letter is the day I frame it and put it in my office as the crowning achievement of my life.”
Pretty cool guy. I hope you take the time to read over his Facebook page before he’s forced to take it down. Just look at the posts and imagine the poor pathetic souls who thought they were supporting the Big Cheeto there!
Even Fox News is worried about Trump losing Florida.
