WATCH: Trump JOKES About The Flint Water Crisis And His Supporters Go WILD

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump made a campaign stop in Flint, Michigan, this week. During the rally, Trump made this observation about the water crisis:

“It used to be, think of this, is this true? It used to be cars were made in Flint, and you couldn’t drink the water in Mexico. Now, the cars are made in Mexico, and you can’t drink the water in Flint! (crowd roars) Oh, I hate to say it, but it’s true. I can say it to you folks.”

He continued:

“We shouldn’t allow it to happen … They’ll make their cars, they’ll employ thousands and thousands of people, not from this country … and we’ll have nothing but more unemployment in Flint.”

The people of Flint have been dealing with contaminated water for months.

Not everyone was happy to see Donald Trump. Ron Bieber, president of the Michigan AFL-CIO labor federation said:

“’Donald Trump, I have one question for you and it’s a simple one: Where the hell have you been?’ He said. ‘Here we stand, less than 60 days out from a presidential election and now Donald Trump wants to roll in town for a photo op? Give me a break.’”

Trump toured the local water plant during his trip. Some people were booing, others were cheering. The people of Flint do need to raise awareness, but Trump shouldn’t be using this as a campaign photo opportunity.

The people in Flint need real help.

Trump also visited a black church while there in Flint. A pastor interrupted his speech to remind him that he was not there for a political talk.

Trump later trash-talked the pastor on Fox & Friends. Host Steve Doccey said said:

“Some have suggested online that they were out to sabatoge you by putting that up.”

Trump can do that all on his own, though.
