There’s an old expression which goes like this: The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. And in the case of the Trump family, it most certainly applies, and not in a good way.
On Monday, Donald Trump, Jr. went on Twitter and posted this offensive meme:
This image says it all. Let's end the politically correct agenda that doesn't put America first. #trump2016 pic.twitter.com/9fHwog7ssN

The company that makes Skittles, Wrigley Americas, issued a statement in which they correctly noted:
“Skittles are candy. Refugees are people. We don’t feel it’s an appropriate analogy. We will respectfully refrain from further commentary as anything we say could be misinterpreted as marketing.”
But it was the other members of the Twitter community who had the best comebacks for the deplorable posting from the Trump spawn:
you're not supposed to eat the refugees @DonaldJTrumpJr we've been over this https://t.co/d8XnbIzk0o

I think we should stop eating any #Skittles. Just until we find out what's going on.

JR: “If I had a bowl of skittles and I told you just three would kill you. Would you take a handful?”
If your dad wins, I’ll eat them all.

It's funny, I feel that way about Trump children, except the metaphor breaks down when the giant orange Skittle nukes France

Indeed, the apple has not fallen far from the tree. And neither have the Skittles. Dammit, now I’m hungry!
