WATCH: ‘Breaking Bad’s’ Bryan Cranston Is Breaking Out Of The US If Trump Gets Elected (AUDIO)

Originally started by Lena Dunham, creator and star of Girls, a new trend is taking celebrities by storm this election season. It has overwhelmed the likes of Chelsea Handler, Barbara Streisand, and now Breaking Bad‘s Bryan Cranston.

In a recent interview with the Bestseller Experiment podcast, Cranston said that he, like Handler and the others, would be moving to Canada if Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump wins the General Election.

Breaking Into Canada

Cranston was asked if he would take an extended vacation to the Canadian city of Vancouver if the GOP candidate wins:

“Absolutely. I would definitely move. It’s not real to me that that would happen. I hope to God it won’t.”

He then went on to say that he wouldn’t treat it as a vacation. Cranston referred to himself as a potential future expatriate. However, everyone’s favorite meth cook is also said to find Trump fascinating.

What Is The Appeal?

Don’t worry, Cranston is not a Trump fan by any means. He has described this entire portion of American history rather eloquently:

“He’s [Trump] such a tragic Shakespearean character … He’s comedic as well, because of the tragedy of this man’s soul. The delusion that he has, the supreme narcissism. Beautiful character, amazing character. In the States, there will be classes taught on this election period. There will be books written, movies made. There will be theatrical productions about Donald Trump because of the anomaly he presented.”

Who Else Would Leave?

Lena Dunham started the trend when she first stated she would move to Canada if Trump won. His response was that:

“She’s a B actor and has no mojo … I heard Whoopi Goldberg said that, too. That would be a great, great thing for our country if she got out.”

Dunham wasn’t too offended by the comments from Trump. At the Matrix Awards, she said of the issue:

“I know a lot of people have been threatening to [move], but I really will. I know a lovely place in Vancouver, and I can get my work done from there.”

Rosie O’Donnell

Also causing a stir is everyone’s favorite Twitter user, Rosie O’Donnell, who destroyed Trump on Twitter after the debates.

She has also stated that she intends to move to Canada too, should he win the election. How did Trump feel about that?

“‘We’ll get rid of Rosie? Oh, I love it. Now I have to get elected because I’ll be doing a great service to our country. I have to … Now it’s much more important. In fact, I’ll immediately get off this call and start campaigning right now.”

The List Goes On

The following is a semi-comprehensive list of all the celebrities we will lose if one buffoon becomes president.

  • Raven Simone
  • Miley Cyrus
  • Cher
  • Whoopi Goldberg
  • Samuel L. Jackson
  • Jon Stewart
  • George Lopez
  • Chelsea Handler
  • Eddie Griffin
  • Spike Lee
  • and many, many, many more…

We Have Another Suggestion

Since so many of our favorite people plan on leaving, why don’t we make things easier, and just deport Trump?

That way, we get the best of both worlds! No woman-hating fascist-scum barely-mentally-competent dictator, and all of our favorite entertainers get to stay. How does that sound?

Like a plan? I thought so. Wonderful.
