Fans of Kanye West attended his show in California and were expecting him to sing some of his songs, rap some of his lyrics. However, they got quite an earful, as West went off on one of his typical rants. This time he took on politics and Black people.
During his show in San Jose, West brought up Donald Trump and decided to tick off some fans along the way. Yes, West showed his support for President-elect Trump! West said:
“I told you all I didn’t vote right? … But if I were to have voted, I would have voted for Trump.”
To make it even better, West decided to move on to the topic of racism. Nothing like a stop on the Saint Pablo Tour to talk about Trump and racism, right? West’s statement might surprise you though, as he said:
“Specifically to black people, stop focusing on racism. This world is racist ok? Let’s stop being distracted…it’s just a fucking fact, we are in a racist country, period.”
So, by not focusing on racism, that will solve racism? West seems to live in his own world with wife Kim Kardashian. To make it even better, West reiterated that he would be running for president in 2020!
Let me get this straight. He supports Trump, but then will run against him in 2020? I mean, we elected a reality TV star as president, so why couldn’t Kanye get the nomination also?
