Right wing televangelist Jim Bakker has found some bizarre silver lining in the election of Republican Donald Trump: the end of the world as we know it.
During his “Black Friday” show, Bakker giddily contemplated what a Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin partnership might mean in terms of Israel. Specifically, he hoped aloud that Trump and Putin would work together to rebuild “the temple” in Jerusalem.
Bakker citing a source called “Breaking Israel News” said:
“I don’t know what is going on, but they’re talking about helping Israel rebuild their temple.”
Having said this, someone can be heard laughing hysterically in the background. Whether that was in response to Bakker’s comment or if it was just bad sound editing, the laugh track worked perfectly!
Bakker continued:
“When they start talking about building the Temple and the Jews all coming back to Israel, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords comes after that according to the Bible.”
And of course the Bible is true because the Bible says that the Bible is true.
