WATCH: Fiona Apple Roasts Trump’s Nuts Over An Open Fire (VIDEO)

Nat King Cole’s “The Christmas Song,” or “Chestnuts Roasting On an Open Fire” as we know it better, got an excellent political spin this year by singer/songwriter Fiona Apple.

President-elect Donald Trump gets the honor of being the muse and inspiration for Apple’s amazing rendition and you just can’t help picturing her standing next to an open fire, snow falling all around, belting this “new” holiday classic.

The video, first appearing on a Tumblr page, has become very popular across the web. Fiona Apple starts the song out with:

“Trump’s nuts roasting on an open fire. You cry ‘creepy uncle’ every time he arrives.”

But don’t misunderstand Ms. Apple she does more than roast some nuts, she also attacks the conversation of poverty, racial inequality, and Trump’s ridiculous wealth, and the fears of working class people. And all tied up nicely in a holiday ballot. Fiona Apple sings:

“Everybody knows some money and entitlement/Can help to make the season white. Mothers of color with their kids out of sight/Will find it hard to sleep at night.”

Apple dramatically ends the video by ripping up a picture of Trump and wishing him a very sarcastic “Merry Christmas.”

This song should definitely become a holiday staple, at least while the Trumpster is still in the White House.

I wonder if she could make one for Melania?
