Psychiatrists Demand Complete Evaluation Of Trump Before Its Too Late (VIDEO)

It’s been said before. It’s been said a lot.

Donald Trump appears to be mentally ill.

Back in July the Huffington Post, wrote:

“Mr. Trump appears to be suffering from Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD).”

Other outlets pointed out the likelihood that Trump had this serious, lifelong disorder during the course of the campaign. There were also articles about Trump having ADHD, and about him showing strong evidence of an expressive language disorder.

Some writers even brought up the fact that Trump might be showing signs of early Alzheimer’s disease.

The problem, of course, is that none of these professionals has actually evaluated the President-elect. Without that hands-on evaluation, it is unethical for any professional to diagnose Mr. Trump or anyone else.

That’s why three noted psychiatrists have sent a letter to President Obama asking him to arrange a complete psychiatric and neuropsychiatric evaluation of Mr. Trump before he is allowed to take the oath of office.

The doctors are all professors of psychiatry, two at Harvard University, one at the University of California. They are not nutcakes, like the doctor who once wrote a letter asserting that Trump was “the healthiest individual ever elected to the Presidency.”

These doctors know mental illness when they see it. Their letter said, in part:

“We are writing to express our grave concern regarding the mental stability of our President-Elect. Professional standards do not permit us to venture a diagnosis for a public figure whom we have not evaluated personally. Nevertheless, his widely reported symptoms of mental instability — including grandiosity, impulsivity, hypersensitivity to slights or criticism, and an apparent inability to distinguish between fantasy and reality — lead us to question his fitness for the immense responsibilities of the office. We strongly recommend that, in preparation for assuming these responsibilities, he receive a full medical and neuropsychiatric evaluation by an impartial team of investigators.”

People with NPD are notoriously difficult to live with. They seek nearly constant admiration. They believe that they are special and they are extremely oversensitive and overreactive to perceived slights.

They are the type who would monitor TV comedy shows to make sure they are portrayed with gravity and seriousness. They are the type, say the doctors, who would send impulsive and angry tweets in response to satire.

People with NPD cannot tolerate even the slightest suggestion that they might be wrong, or partly wrong, or may have made a mistake. They react to such suggestions with rage and an impulsive need to strike back.

A person with this disorder would endanger the entire world if he were to have control of the nuclear codes.

These renowned psychiatrists are begging for a complete evaluation of the man who will have the codes.

Personally, I think that this should be a part of any electoral process.

I don’t think there’s a chance of Trump agreeing to such an evaluation. So I think that we are in deep, deep trouble for at least the next four years.

This video shows some insight into NPD as it relates to Donald Trump.
