Big Ego Trump Gets Caught In Yet Another Lie – This Time About His Inauguration (VIDEO)

President-elect Trump recently boasted about the upcoming election to the New York Times. He went on and on about how YUGE this inauguration was going to be and about how many famous people were just shaking in their boots with anticipation of welcoming Trump into the White House.

Well, that is not exactly the truth. Actually, it’s pretty much as far from the truth as you can get.

Trump told the New York Times:

“We are going to have an unbelievable, perhaps record-setting turnout for the inauguration, and there will be plenty of movie and entertainment stars. All the dress shops are sold out in Washington. It’s hard to find a great dress for this inauguration.”

Calling Trump’s bluff PEOPLE decided to call around to a few of these “sold out dress shops” and find out just how many dresses they really had available. It really wasn’t a surprise to find out that there were more than enough dresses to go around. Mae Shipe, of Mae’s Dress Boutique in Washington DC, stated:

“No, we’re not sold out. We have 200 dresses, if not more, in stock.”

To further add to this ridiculous show of fake hype from Trump, not only are the dresses not sold out, but there doesn’t seem to be a high demand at all for the evening gowns. Anastasia Thomas, an employee at Betsy Fisher, said:

“We have not gotten a huge influx of traffic specifically related to shopping for inaugural dresses.”

In fact, some stores are even seeing record low interest and sales for any type of evening wear associated with the inauguration. Peter Marx, the owner of Saks Jandel, stated:

“There’s never been less demand for inaugural ballgowns in my 38 years. Never ever has it been less for the inaugural.”

So it seems that our ego inflated President-elect has to make up stories about his inauguration just like he did his own platform during election season. Luckily with today’s technology he can just superimpose a crowd into all the inaugural videos.

But don’t worry Trump there will be plenty of people in Washington DC that weekend, possibly even record-setting numbers, but they are there to protest against you, not welcome you to the White House.
