WATCH: Trevor Noah Begins Trump’s Term With A Hilarious Hamilton-Style Song

It finally happened, we have sworn in Donald Trump as President of the United States. The Daily Show had a special episode to ring in the occasion.

Noah began the episode showing Trump’s swearing in and talking about the despair we are all feeling. He pointed out Michelle Obama’s amazing facial expressions during the entire thing.

That wasn’t the funniest part, though. Noah began talking about what Trump might do, but then he seemed to realize that Trump is now going to have to do the stuff he said he is going to do.

He talked about how Trump can’t procrastinate with the things he has promised. He had a frown on his face when he pointed out how much of a hold the Republican party now has on our country. We have a Republican president, Republican-controlled Congress, and 32 state legislatures controlled by Republicans. Noah then does something I didn’t see coming, he broke into song.

The refrain was “no more excuses.” Trump is going to have to deliver on all of the crazy stuff he promised over the last year and a half. Noah sings about how Trump should actually try and build that wall, but his hands are too tiny to do it himself.

He also had probably one of the best rhymes in a song that I have ever heard:

“No more excuses / It’s time to take your red cap off and really do sh*t”

“‘Cause if you fail now / You’ll look like douches”

He even had his own line of dancers performing the kick line similar to the Rockettes, who fought against performing for the Inauguration.

This is a very sad day, but Trevor Noah made me smile for a few minutes on the morning after. We are all waiting to see what he is actually going to do.

The video is too new and the embed codes aren’t working for us, but you can watch the clip here:
