State Treasury Official: ‘Gay Jokes Are Back On Ya Bunch Of Homos’ (Social Media)

An Arkansas State Treasury Official has resigned following his posting of offensive messages on social media recently. On the January 20, President Donald Trump’s inauguration day, Hunter Hatcher tweeted this message:

“Y’all in Trump’s America now! Time to flick that chip off your shoulder and quit being so offended. Gay jokes are back on ya bunch of homos.”

He has since left his job and has made his Twitter account private. Dennis Miller, the Treasurer of Arkansas State has expressed his disappointment and distanced himself from Hatcher’s comments with the following Facebook post:

This is not the first time Hatcher has posted dubious comments on social media. TVH11 reported that Hatcher also captioned a live video of the women’s march with:

“if all these women are at the Capitol, who’s making lunch?”

on his Facebook account. In addition to this it was reported that on New Year’s Day Hatcher also posted this message on Facebook:

“I love Subway cause I can tell a woman to make me a sandwich and she does it with a smile on her face. I wish all women has(sic) that Subway work ethic…and equality? Don’t get equal, get to cooking woman, get equal on your own time.”

Wow. It is just amazing that these kind of ‘jokes’ are still being told.

An attempt to diminish women’s rights has already been made by the incoming Trump government with an abortion bill signed within his first week of office.

Hatcher issued an apology with his resignation. Is he really sorry?

It is frustrating any time that people have such backward views and you have to wonder has Trump’s election unleashed a volcano?

It really makes you wonder how these people treat the women in their lives.

Yes Hunter no longer works at the State Treasury office, but will that change how he actually thinks?
