Inside Job: Podesta Says ‘Forces Within The FBI’ Wanted Hillary Clinton To Lose

John Podesta, the chairman of the Hillary Clinton for President campaign in 2016, said this week that the FBI didn’t take the hacking of the Democratic National Committee seriously enough and the result was a major advantage for Donald Trump as information was released via WikiLeaks during the race for the White House.

Speaking to a cybersecurity panel at the NewCo Shift Forum in San Francisco, Podesta remarked:

“I think to this day it’s inexplicable that they were so casual about the investigation of the Russian penetration of the DNC emails.

“They didn’t even bother to send an agent to the DNC. They left a couple of messages at the IT help desk saying, ‘You might want to be careful.'”

And Podesta also made a more serious charge, commenting:

“There are at least forces within the FBI that wanted her to lose.”

Podesta also said he didn’t think he fell victim to a phishing scheme, which has long been alleged:

“Woulda, coulda, shoulda. I don’t think it was an issue of what the strength of my password was. Although I now have stronger passwords.”

As for Russian interference in the 2016 election, Podesta said the American people deserve to know the full extent of foreign influence over the electoral result:

“It wasn’t just that they didn’t like Hillary Clinton’s pantsuit, it was that Putin had a vendetta about her and her tenure as secretary of state. But mostly it was about Trump having adopted positions that were extraordinarily friendly to Putin and strongly at odds with a bipartisan collection of national security officials and people overseas.”

How much did the Trump campaign coordinate strategy with the Russians? The American people have a right to know that, too. And if it can be proven that the alleged president himself was involved, he should be arrested, prosecuted, impeached, and imprisoned. If not, the Russians may be well on the way to destroying this country from inside the Oval Office.
