LOOK: Pence Tweets Support For Israel … With The Nicaraguan Flag – TWICE (VIDEO)

The new administration has embarrassed our country yet again and yes, it involves Twitter.

Nicaraguan Vs. Israeli Flag

Vice President Mike Pence spoke to the Republican Jewish Coalition late last night. Of course he wanted everyone to know that while their administration isn’t exactly on the best of terms with the Jewish community, he and President Donald Trump stand with Israel.

He decided to add a visual image to his message, which is easy thanks to emojis. So he included the Nicaraguan flag at the end of his tweet. Not the Israeli flag, mind you. The Nicaraguan one.

Lucky for us, people took screenshots and called him out.

We’re not sure how he messed that one up. While they both have blue and white stripes, the Israeli flag features the Star of David. It’s by far the biggest symbol of Judaism.

It’s the same star that was sprawled across a meme tweeted by President Donald Trump during the election, which attacked Hillary Clinton. Nothing says you’re not an anti-Semite like slandering the Jewish religion.

Even if Pence didn’t know the Israeli flag had the Star of David, the words ‘Republic of Nicaragua America Central’ should have been a clue. Then again, emojis are small and zooming in takes effort.

Either way, you’d think that after the Russian ‘Trump flag incident‘ during Trump’s speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), both Trump and Pence would have the common sense to double check. Oops!

Anti-Semitism

This comes after Trump didn’t even recognize the Jewish people on National Holocaust Remembrance Day. It’s not as though he didn’t have time to say ‘Hey, remember what they went through.’ He gave an awkward 80-minute speech that same day, and was even asked about anti-Semitism by a reporter.

That reporter simply asked if he would be addressing the 48 bomb threats recently made to Jewish community centers. Instead of responding in a presidential manner, he was upset and berated the reporter for not keeping it simple.

Let’s not forget all of those reports about Steve Bannon being an anti-Semite, either.
